EZAPA Terms of Service

1. Introduction
Welcome to EZAPA! By using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) which govern your use of our services. EZAPA connects clients with beauty and wellness service providers, including but not limited to masseuses, nail technicians, makeup artists, and barbers (“Service Providers”). EZAPA facilitates bookings, handles payments, and charges a service fee for connecting clients and Service Providers.
2. Services
EZAPA offers a platform where clients can book beauty and wellness services from Service Providers who operate as independent contractors. EZAPA is not responsible for the performance of the services rendered by Service Providers. The platform facilitates the connection and payments between clients and Service Providers.
3. Client Obligations
Clients using the EZAPA platform agree to:
– Provide accurate information when creating accounts and booking services.
– Pay for the services via the platform using accepted payment methods.
– Treat Service Providers with respect and professionalism during service appointments.
4. Service Provider Obligations
Service Providers using the EZAPA platform agree to:
– Provide services in a professional and timely manner.
– Maintain necessary licenses, certifications, and insurance required to offer services.
– Use the EZAPA platform to accept and manage bookings, and adhere to all applicable local laws.
5. Payments and Fees
Clients agree to pay for services through the EZAPA platform. EZAPA will process the payments on behalf of the Service Providers. A service fee and commission are deducted from the total payment, and the remaining amount is transferred to the Service Provider. Service Providers will be able to see their earnings after deductions.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Clients may cancel bookings, subject to EZAPA’s cancellation policy. Refunds may be issued at EZAPA’s discretion, depending on the circumstances of the cancellation and service provided. Service Providers are also subject to cancellation penalties based on EZAPA’s policy.
7. Independent Contractor Status
Service Providers are independent contractors and not employees of EZAPA. They are responsible for complying with local laws, including tax obligations, and maintaining their own business operations.
8. Liability
EZAPA is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or other claims that arise during or after the provision of services by Service Providers. Clients and Service Providers release EZAPA from liability arising from any disputes or claims related to the services provided.
9. Termination
EZAPA reserves the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or are involved in fraudulent activities.
10. Changes to Terms
EZAPA may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are made signifies acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
EZAPA Refund Policy
At EZAPA, we aim to ensure a smooth and fair experience for both clients and Service Providers. Our refund policy is structured around the stages of the order booking process.
1. Stages of Booking
When you book a service through EZAPA, the order moves through the following stages:
– Placed: The booking is made, and we are searching for an available artist.
– Accepted: An artist has accepted the booking.
– En Route: The artist is on their way to your location.
– In Progress: The artist is actively providing the service.
– Completed: The service has been successfully provided.
2. Refund Eligibility
Clients are eligible for a refund under the following conditions:
– Cancellation before En Route: Clients can cancel their booking any time before the artist has started traveling to their location. In this case, the full amount will be refunded.
– Cancellation after En Route: Once the artist is en route to the client’s location, the booking cannot be canceled, and no refund will be issued.
– No-show Policy: If the client is not present when the artist arrives at the location, the booking will be considered completed, and no refund will be granted.
3. Refund Process
– Refunds will be processed automatically within 3-5 business days following the cancellation, subject to the above terms.
– The refund will be credited back to the original payment method used when booking the service.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
In case of extenuating circumstances or disputes, EZAPA reserves the right to investigate and determine whether a refund should be issued. All decisions made by EZAPA in these situations are final.
5. Changes to This Policy
EZAPA may update or modify this refund policy as needed. Any changes will be communicated through the platform, and continued use of the service implies acceptance of the updated policy.
